My heart hurts for the world and for the U.S. right now. There is so much sorrow and pain, erupting from years of injustice. I am thankful for those who are stepping up to speak out against racism and injustice. We should all be using our voices and praying for justice and for peace.

Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

Episode #70- Lectio Divina on John 14: 25-27 with Ro

SHEKINAMEDITATIONPODCAST#70.png

Hi beloved ones around the world,

A lot has changed in the world and I know we are all reeling from the shift. Illness, grief, loss. These things are heavy in the heart. And at the same time, each day brings beauty and love. Gifts from the Father of Lights for each moment.

We are still on our regular, scheduled break here in Pai, and will slowly begin to figure out what the next months look like for us as we are still scattered around the globe.

We will continue to podcast meditation. I have found Christ-centered meditation to be the best training ground for my heart to find stillness in the midst of the vast unknown. And also to lift me out of the immediate circumstances of my life. I hope it brings you peace as well.

Here’s what to expect in this episode of the podcast:

* A short intro by Rae, including a little of where we are in the world, and thoughts about meditation.

* Ro guides a Lectio Divina meditation on John 14:25-27. This is the last of the sessions that we recorded at Shambhala festival in Northern Thailand. It is the most authentic experience of guiding meditation at a festival, as a drum circle starts up nearby, partway through. Enjoy!
